You can learn a lot from other bloggers. One I like is ProBlogger, an Aussie whose niche is, well, blogging. But you and I know there's more to social media than blogging. Twitter is another online tool businesses are using to connect with stakeholders and others. So having a well designed Twitter environment is just as important as a well designed blog, website, brochure or annual report.
Twitter Offer New Design Feature
When I first started using Twitter, it was a very simple tool. And it still is. But the computer geeks behind the scene have added a few new tools that help you customize a Twitter environment.
Darren Rowse of ProBlogger writes, "Switching backgrounds and changing the color palette of your Twitter
page is easy to do. Simply select "Settings" in the top row of links on
your Twitter page, click on the "Design" tab and then either select a
"theme" or click on "Change background image" or "Change design colors"
and get creative. Don’t worry about goofing anything up. Any changes
you make will not be visible to anyone but you until you click "save".
Several other points Rowse covers are customized, branded backgrounds and pointers on choosing the right dimensions based on standard monitor sizes. He gives us the benefits and drawback of two very popular screen size resolutions for Twitter. Read more of "Make a Good Impression with a Custom Twitter Background" at TwiTip.
