It's that time of year again. Time to submit your communications projects from 2010 to the Hoosier Chapter of PRSA Pinnacle Awards. It's time to share your creative work with the rest of us. Here's the skinny.
Taylor Graves and Ashley Kasdorf are running this show, and they tell me the final deadline for entries is Friday, March 25.
Instead of wasting reams of copy paper and that 3-ring binder, this year we are trying to save a few trees. We'd like you to submit your best work in a PDF file or on a single CD.
The Pinnacle Awards have a tradition of showcasing some of the best work from PR professionals around the state. Angela Tuell won Best in Show for Conner Prairie's "Interactive History Park: Exhibit Launch of the 1859 Balloon Voyage" in the 2010 Hoosier Chapter of PRSA Pinnacle Awards. Tuell shared her excitement with the Hoosier Chapter in this video.
But that's just part of Pinnacle. Students from around the state that have communications projects are welcome to submit their work too. Last year Top Dog Communications won a Pinnacle for their efforts.
Top Dog, the student-run public relations agency at the University of Indianapolis, submitted their crisis communication plan, which, according to U Indy students, Abby H. and Molly N., "it took a lot, a lot of time and effort."
The bottom line, if you have outstanding communications work, there's no reason why you shouldn't be recongnized for your creativity and hard work. Submit your work today.
