Join Us for a Special Breakfast Meeting Focused on Public Service

Indiana’s schools are facing unprecedented challenges, and through an editorial series entitled “Our Children, Our City,” the Indianapolis Star has challenged its readers to “galvanize the community to take an active part in, and commit resources to, raising the educational achievement of the city's children.”

Who: PRSA and IABC members 

What: Learn more about the issues confronting Central Indiana’s education system and how each of us can become part of the solution.

• Dr. Eugene White, Indianapolis Public Schools superintendent.
• Matt Tully, columnist at the Indianapolis Star.
• Jay Geshay, vice president of community service for the United Way.
• Sherrie Bossung, director of community outreach and employee engagement at Eli Lilly and Company.
• Tonja Eagan, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters

When:Tuesday, July 27. Doors open at 8 a.m. (continental breakfast served) and a panel discussion will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Following the panel discussion, representatives from local organizations will be on-hand to provide information about volunteer and other support opportunities. This event is free for members of PRSA and IABC; however, attendees are strongly encouraged to bring donations for BackPack Attack.
